Wondering what this post is about????
Haha, well nothing as interesting as what you were probably thinking. It's just the name of the new blog template I used to spruce up "Happily Home." I got the template from The Cutest Blog on the Block and setting it up was really easy.
There were so many to choose from that I couldn't make up my mind. They were all so...well...cute! But I finally settled on this one because of the cool blues and greens. Oh, and I loved the name too!
I'd never heard that song from the 70's before, until my husband included it on a mix tape (cd) he made for us to listen to on our first trip to Miami. It's so sort of cheesy with the glee-club-esque harmonies, but kind of raunchy if you listen to the words. Needless to say, I think my husband was hinting around...lol
Ok, maybe that was TMI...oh well...I'm married after all.
I hope you like the new look!
LOL! I remember going on a trip with my soon to be inlaws and that song came on the radio and I began singing along (I periodically break into song,,, loudly without regard ) my FIL looked at me through the rear view mirror and I turned every shade of red!! I am real good at completely embarrassing myself and everyone around me LOL
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love the look of your blog!!
I hope you had a beautiful Christmas
Patricia
The Blog looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh and the songwriters claim the song was inspired by the lunch menu in a D Restaurant that was called Afternoon Delight. They claim it has nothing to do with the other thing. LOL
Delightful!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look-You can make your own headers to coodinate at www.scrapblog.com...That is what I do, and I love it!
ReplyDelete(If you need any help, let me know, I would love to help out!!!)
(Your TMI info. was funny!)
Cutest Blogs on the Block are so much fun. They give you a new look when ever you feel like it, which always seems to put a little spring in your step. Yours is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very cute! I love the colors. I do remember that song and the harmonys are fun, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI always remind myself about tomorrow when I don't feel like cleaning up the kitchen. I figure if I don't want to clean it up now then I certainly won't want to do it in the morning!
