Day 4 and I Get To Announce My News!

I got my dollar again! God is blessing me right now because of a little bit of "hope and change." Spare change is my provision right now, but I'm wondering what God will do once I've scrounged together the last bit of change that is lying around the house.

I am so happy to be able to announce (I had to wait on their approval first) that I am an official "Ambassador for Life" for Life Outreach. This means that I am volunteering to raise money for their outreach program, "Mission Feeding" and that they are partnering with me in my efforts. Too cool!

I found out about this program while browsing lifetoday.org, looking for a way to be able to get receipts to the people who donate to my $30 for 30 project (I will be keeping a record of all the donations and will be submitting them to Life Outreach and they will send you a receipt for your giving). Not only did I find that, but I found that they have lots of people who do fundraisers all over the world and that they support you by sending you materials, fliers, bracelets, posters, pretty much anything you would need to help you in your efforts.

But the best part is, they set you up with your own website so that people can go there to donate!!! And when you donate online, they send you a receipt for your giving.

Everything is done with the utmost excellence, so you know that when you give, it is going where you intended for it to go.

So, for those of you who want to keep your giving secret, you can go directly to the website and give with your credit or bank card. Unless you designate it, I do not see who gives, or any of your information, all I see are the amounts given. But if you choose, your name and the amount you gave will show up on my home page. But if you want to keep your giving secret, I understand that too. :)

Here is my website

Once on the page, click on the link that says, "$30 for 30 Days," then click on the blue button on the left that says, "Donate to my campaign," then just fill out your information.

I'm so excited to be able to provide a quick and convenient way for you, my friends to be able to donate. But if you still just want to send a donation through the mail, just email me and I will be happy to give you my address.

Many blessings and THANK YOU!!!! 26 more days to go and I have 4 dollars toward my $1,020 goal. God is faithful!!!

If you're not sure what in the world I'm talking about, go here to read about my fund raising efforts for starving people in the Sudan.

  1. That's awesome, Angie! Isn't it exciting to make a difference in this way? This is why I keep talking about the 30 Hour Famine or money I've loaned thru Kiva or when we feed the homeless once a month and I'm so glad you don't get tired of seeing it on facebook, lol!

There's just something so humbling about being able to truly made a difference in someone's life like that. What an opportunity for your daughter to help, too.

May I "sponsor" your daughter to do a chore and earn her $1.00? She can do whatever extra chore you want her to do and I will pay her $1.00 that she can donate. That is, if you don't mind. Let me know if this is something you'd like to do.

My kids are older but they began "giving back" many years ago and I think these opportunities are good for our kids, because we all have so much and so many people have nothing.
